Last year we announced the launch of a three year strategic plan with much excitement and anticipation. We were also very pleased to have our drive for its accomplishment spearheaded by Kalparrin’s newly appointed CEO Robyn Coleman.
Robyn has worked tirelessly over the past ten months towards achievement of many of the plans outlined for Kalparrin, with a small team of committed and compassionate staff, and a large number of dedicated and generous volunteers.
Robyn has now made the difficult decision to leave Kalparrin, but she will be remembered for her energy and drive, and she will no doubt be tackling another challenge with a similar gusto in the future.
For now, we wish her all the best and thank her for her contribution to our organisation.
While considering the appointment of a new CEO, the Board is fortunate to be able to engage Kalparrin Director, Libby Lyons to oversee the day to day running of Kalparrin and ensure business as usual. Libby brings with her a wealth of management experience and is an extremely well connected and highly respected member of the West Australian community. Most recently Libby has taken on lead roles in External Relations at CITIC Pacific Mining and Atlas Iron Limited.
Libby has the valuable background of being the Chair of SIDS and Kids for four years, leaving in 2010.
The Board of Kalparrin is confident that we are looking into a bright and exciting future doing what we do best… families supporting families.
